Payment Terms & Conditions

1. Payment Methods

TheForja accepts the following payment methods for our subscription services:

  • Bank Transfer/NEFT/RTGS: Direct bank transfer to our business account
  • UPI Payments: Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, and other UPI apps
  • Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, RuPay (via payment gateway)
  • Net Banking: All major Indian banks
  • Payment Gateway: Razorpay/Stripe for secure online transactions

2. Subscription Billing

2.1 Monthly Billing Cycle

All subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis. Your billing cycle begins on the date you sign up for the service and renews automatically each month on the same date.

2.2 Pricing Plans

  • Standard Plan: ₹15,000/month + GST
  • Pro Plan: ₹20,000/month + GST

2.3 GST & Taxes

All prices are exclusive of GST and applicable taxes. Current GST rate of 18% applies to all services. GST invoice will be provided for all payments received.

3. Payment Schedule

3.1 Advance Payment

Payment for each billing cycle must be made in advance. Services will commence only after successful payment confirmation.

3.2 Payment Due Date

Monthly subscription payments are due on the 1st of each month or on your subscription anniversary date. A grace period of 5 days is provided.

3.3 Late Payment

If payment is not received within 5 days of the due date:

  • Services will be temporarily suspended after 5 days
  • A late payment fee of ₹500 per day may be charged after 7 days
  • Account will be terminated after 15 days of non-payment

4. Invoicing

4.1 Invoice Generation

GST-compliant invoices are generated automatically upon successful payment and sent to your registered email address within 24 hours.

4.2 Invoice Contents

All invoices include:

  • Invoice number and date
  • TheForja's GST number (GSTIN)
  • Service description and period
  • Base amount, GST breakdown, and total amount
  • Payment method and transaction details

5. Auto-Renewal

5.1 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled at least 7 days before the renewal date.

5.2 Renewal Notifications

Email reminders are sent:

  • 7 days before renewal date
  • 3 days before renewal date
  • On the renewal date

6. Failed Payments

6.1 Payment Failure

If a scheduled payment fails:

  • We will attempt to process the payment 2 more times over 3 days
  • You will receive email notification of payment failure
  • Manual payment option will be provided
  • Services will continue during retry period

7. Refunds & Cancellations

7.1 Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation must be requested at least 7 days before the next billing date to avoid being charged for the upcoming month.

8. Price Changes

8.1 Pricing Updates

TheForja reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days advance notice. Existing subscribers will continue at their current rate for their current billing cycle.

8.2 Price Protection

If you pre-pay for multiple months, you are protected from price increases for the prepaid period.

9. Payment Security

9.1 Data Security

All payment transactions are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. We do not store your credit/debit card information on our servers.

9.2 Transaction Encryption

All payment data is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols during transmission.

10. Disputes & Chargebacks

10.1 Billing Disputes

If you believe there is an error in your billing, contact us within 15 days of the transaction date at help@theforja.com

10.2 Unauthorized Transactions

Report any unauthorized transactions immediately. We will investigate and resolve within 7 business days.

10.3 Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback instead of contacting us first, your account will be suspended pending investigation. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account termination and legal action.
