Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you're not satisfied with our services within the first 7 days, you can request a full refund—no questions asked.

Conditions:

  • Refund request must be made within 7 days of first payment
  • Applies only to first-time subscribers
  • Full refund of subscription fee (excluding payment gateway charges)
  • Any custom bot code developed remains with you

2. Mid-Cycle Cancellation

2.1 Standard Plan & Pro Plan

If you cancel after the 7-day period but before the end of your billing cycle:

  • Services will continue until the end of the current billing period
  • No refund for the unused portion of the month
  • No charges for subsequent months
  • Access to bots and automation will continue until period end

3. Pro-Rated Refunds

Pro-rated refunds are provided only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Downtime: If our services are unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours (excluding scheduled maintenance), you'll receive a pro-rated credit
  • Billing Errors: If we incorrectly charge you, the full amount will be refunded immediately
  • Duplicate Payments: Duplicate charges will be refunded within 5-7 business days

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable:

  • Payment gateway transaction fees
  • Setup fees (if any)
  • Services already delivered/consumed
  • Custom bot development (you retain ownership)
  • GST and other applicable taxes

5. How to Request a Refund

Step 1: Submit Request

Email us at help@theforja.com with:

  • Your registered email address
  • Invoice/Transaction ID
  • Reason for refund (optional but helpful)
  • Bank account details for refund

Step 2: Verification

We'll verify your account and eligibility within 24 hours.

Step 3: Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days.

6. Refund Processing Time

  • UPI/Bank Transfer: 2-3 business days
  • Credit/Debit Card: 5-7 business days
  • Net Banking: 3-5 business days

Note: Bank processing times may vary.

7. Cancellation Process

How to Cancel Your Subscription:

  1. Email help@theforja.com with "Cancellation Request" in subject
  2. Include your registered email and reason (optional)
  3. We'll confirm cancellation within 24 hours
  4. You'll receive confirmation email
  5. Services continue until end of billing period

Important: Submit cancellation requests at least 7 days before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the next month.

8. What Happens After Cancellation

  • Access to our engineer squad ends at period close
  • Bots deployed on your VPS continue running (you own the infrastructure)
  • Bot code and documentation remain yours
  • We provide 30-day support for transition
  • All your data remains on your VPS (we don't delete anything)

9. Re-activation Policy

You can re-activate your subscription at any time:

  • No re-activation fee
  • Same pricing as your previous plan
  • Previous bot configurations preserved (if within 90 days)
  • Contact us to restart services

10. Exceptions & Special Cases

Force Majeure

Refunds may be delayed or adjusted in cases of:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government regulations
  • Banking system failures
  • Other events beyond our control
